I am an Assistant Research Psychologist in Dr. Michael Green’s Laboratory at the VA Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center (MIRECC) and the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences. I am also a California Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 24632) with a part-time private practice in Westwood. For the past decade, I have used electroencephalography (EEG) and behavioral methods to characterize the cognitive abnormalities in schizophrenia with the goal of developing innovative interventions for these deficits. I have received funding from the Department of Veterans Affairs as well as from the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation and authored articles in scientific journals such as Psychological Medicine, Schizophrenia Research, Bipolar Disorders, and the Journal of Psychiatric Research. My current projects focus on evaluating the effects of different cognitive training approaches and neurostimulation techniques on cognition and neuroplasticity in schizophrenia.
